Massena first is actively involved in serving our community. We live our mission every day by reaching out into the community and helping those who need assistance.
Our church partners with groups within the local community as we live into our mission. We work with the schools to help with school supplies and personal care items as well as hats and mittens for the elementary schools.
We assist the local food pantries in providing food as part of their Christmas packages.
We partner with the nursing homes to provide cards and greetings to their residents, and a church service once a month at one of the nursing homes. Our Prayer and Care team along with the Pastor send cards and visitation to our homebound members.
In addition at Christmas time, we help provide gifts for nursing home residents who have no family to support them.
We also host several events open to the community every year. These events are Spring Fling/Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Carnival and Pancakes with Santa.
